Boy Scout Popcorn Story #2

This is a second sharing of Boy Scout stories, taken from the Boy Scout fund raising popcorn box "Trail's End"

Boy Scout Story #2 Troop 167, Arlington, VA

Twenty-eight Boy Scouts from Troop 167 in Arlington, Virginia traveled to the village of Vuelta Grande near Antigua, Guatemala where they painted classroom walls, built a house, and worked to solve an erosion problem. According to Will, who initiated the effort as his Eagle Scout project, "We're trying to demonstrate the value of working together and the things that it can accomplish, so that hopefully they'll see what can be done, and follow our example...helping at the school, volunteering and things like that."

You can support the Boy Scouts year 'round by making popcorn purchases at http://www.trails-end.com/. And if you don't eat popcorn, there's a program to donate your purchase to the military.
